Sara’s jewellery is influenced by the Japanese philosophy of Wabi Sabi, finding beauty when embracing the imperfections of nature and natural materials. The work draws from sculptural, organic forms, combining precious stones, silver and gold. Often playful and always exciting the pieces may combine animated elements. Sara’s jewellery embraces many techniques such as sand casting, Mitsuro Hikimi Wax and fold-forming allowing physics to be her creative partner in exploration of the perfectly imperfect. The pieces evoke a natural chord of pleasure when seen and worn.

These are individually handmade pieces of jewellery with timeless longevity designed to have iconic attachment to the owner and can be handed on for generations to come.

BESPOKE PIECES

Commissioning a bespoke piece of jewellery is a creative and exciting process. Whether you would like to give someone special a unique piece of jewellery or have something made for you, the journey starts with a discussion about the person it's being made for and what would best suit their personality and lifestyle. Following an initial consultation, drawings of the piece will follow before the final piece is made in your choice of precious metal. Gemstones can also be sourced for you.
